HARTMANN MedProtect Film Spray is a skin barrier spray designed to protect at-risk or damaged skin from moisture, friction and irritants. It forms a transparent film that creates a waterproof yet breathable protective layer on skin that can no longer absorb moisture effectively.

The skin barrier spray provides long-lasting protection for up to 72 hours, helping to reduce the need for frequent reapplication while supporting patient comfort. The fast-drying formulation dries in approximately 30 seconds, allowing quick application. It does not compromise the absorbency of incontinence products and allows adhesives to stick securely, supporting seamless use alongside existing care products.

Použití

MedProtect Film Spray is intended for use on at-risk or damaged skin to help protect it from moisture and external irritants.

How to use

Ensure the skin is clean and dry before application
Hold the spray approximately 100–150 mm from the skin and apply a smooth, even film over the affected area
If an area is missed, re-apply after the first application has dried (approx. 30 seconds)
If applied to areas with skin folds or skin-to-skin contact, separate the skin until the film has dried thoroughly
Allow the film to dry completely (approx. 30 seconds) before applying incontinence products
Re-apply every 24–72 hours depending on the frequency of cleaning
In cases of increased exposure, more frequent application (every 12–24 hours) may be required
