Zetuvit® Plus Silicone Border

The self-adhesive SAP wound dressing with silicone interface.

Zetuvit® Plus Silicone Border is a sterile single-use self-adhesive absorbent dressing with a silicone interface for long-term treatment of acute and chronic exuding wounds.

Zetuvit® Plus Silicone Border absorbs and retains up to high levels of exudate in the absorbent pad and the dressing is able to redistribute pressure. It features a micro-adherent silicone interface and adhesive borders, so no additional materials are required to secure the dressing. The backing film is bacteria and showerproof. The dressing changes can be carried out atraumatically and almost painlessly.

Zetuvit® Plus Silicone Border can be used in context of compression therapy.

Application

Cleanse the wound according to clinical practice. Make sure that the surrounding skin is dry and clean to ensure that the dressing sticks.
Select the dressing’s size and shape, so that the green absorbent pad exceeds the wound edges by approx. 1 to 2 cm.
Do not cut the green absorbent pad. The transparent border can be cut to adapt the dressing to specific body areas.
Remove the protective sheets according to the application instructions. Apply the adherent side to the wound with the green side facing away.
Press down the adhesive edges firmly and avoid wrinkles in the border to ensure the dressing stays securely in place.
No additional fixation is required. If indicated, compression bandages can be applied as instructed by a clinician.
The dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound and the clinician’s instructions.
The dressing must be changed if clinically indicated or when exudate approached the rim of the green absorbent pad.
