The sterile, self-adhesive wound dressing
Cosmopor® E sterile is intended for the protection of postoperative and primary wounds and for the absorption of exudate in wounds with normal to high exudate levels.
Cosmopor® E is a self-adhesive wound dressing made of a soft non-woven carrier material with a centrally positioned wound pad. The wound contact layer consists of a fine-mesh polyethylene net that prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound. Rapid exudate absorption is achieved through the drainage effect of the micro-mesh structure.
The dressing offers good absorbency and cushioning properties. It is also skin-friendly and features a synthetic rubber-based adhesive.
