The fine pored VivanoMed Foam's flexible structure adapts to irregular wound contours. Due to the open-pored structure, the pressure is distributed uniformly across the foam which permits an efficient therapy. It can be cut to size vertically as well as horizontally and is available in different sizes.

Application

VivanoMed Foam is indicated in patients who can benefit from the application of a controlled negative pressure and the wound healing that it promotes. In particular this includes patients for whom drainage through negative pressure and the removal of infectious material through continuous or intermittent negative pressure may be of advantage.Treatment with VivanoMed Foam in conjunction with the VivanoTec negative pressure therapy system is appropriate in the following types of wound: Chronic, acute, traumatic, dehiscent wounds, ulcers (e.g. pressure or diabetic ulcers) grafts and burns.
