HydroTac® transparent comfort

HydroTac® transparent and HydroTac® transparent comfort are single use sterile transparent hydrocellular gel dressings (with or without adhesive border) consisting of hydrated polyurethane polymer which contains glycerin.

HydroTac transparent comfort: HydroTac transparent comfort is the border version, featuring a skin-friendly adhesive film border coated with an polyacrylic based adhesive. Thus no other (fixation) materials are needed to secure the dressing.

The dressing can release moisture and absorb a limited amount of exudate, thereby providing a moist wound environment which has a stimulating effect on wound healing, because of the high water content of approx. 60%. Thus it is stimulating granulation and epithelization. HydroTac® transparent (comfort) is transparent and provides an atraumatic dressing change. Due to its transparency, wound inspection is possible at any time without removal of dressing. The product is covered with a semi-permeable layer to prevent bacterial penetration.
