DoC Hartmann MedProtect Film Spray and Swab
HARTMANN MedProtect Film Spray is a skin barrier spray that protects at-risk or damaged skin by forming a durable, breathable and waterproof barrier against body fluids and external irritants for up to 72 hours.
HARTMANN MedProtect Film Spray is a skin barrier film designed to protect at-risk or damaged skin caused by incontinence related body fluids, peri-wound skin damage and peristomal complications. It forms a transparent film that creates a waterproof yet breathable protective layer to shield the skin from moisture, friction and irritants.
The MedProtect Film Spray provides a long-lasting protection for up to 72 hours, helping to reduce the need for frequent reapplication while supporting patient comfort. The fast-drying formulation dries in approximately 30 seconds, allowing quick application. It does not compromise the absorbency of incontinence products and allows adhesives to stick securely, supporting seamless use alongside existing care products.
It is suitable for use on at-risk or damaged skin and can be applied across multiple care situations including incontinence, ostomy and wound-related skin damage. Designed for larger and hard-to-reach areas, for example as an IAD protection spray, it supports targeted application. The alcohol-free formulation ensures sting-free use, while the transparent film allows ongoing skin monitoring.
The perfect match: MedProtect Film Spray and MedProtect Film Swab can be used alongside HARTMANN incontinence care and wound care products. Combining expertise in incontinence, wound and skin care, the MedProtect range helps protect at-risk skin and supports protection of skin damage caused by IAD*, peri-wound and peristomal complications, while contributing to improved care quality and more efficient care processes.
MedProtect Film Spray is intended for use on at-risk or damaged skin to help protect it from moisture and external irritants.
