For quick temperature readings in the ear and on the forehead

With the Veroval® 2 in 1 infrared thermometer for the whole family* you can measure the temperature easily in the ear or on the forehead – whichever you prefer. For smooth, safe and hygienic ear measurement, the device comes with 10 single-use protective covers. Refill packs of 20 can be purchased at pharmacies or medical supply stores.

Thanks to the infrared technology, measurements with the Veroval® 2 in 1 thermometer are fast. The measuring sensor detects the infrared radiation emanating from the eardrum or the forehead surface and produces the result during an ear measurement in one second.

The measuring sensor detects the infrared radiation emanating from the eardrum or the frontal surface and reproduces the measurement result during the ear measurement in one second. For forehead measurement, the highest recognized measurement value is displayed after completion of the scanning process.

Readings in the ear

The reading can be carried out in the right or left ear. The thermometer measures the infrared rays emitted by the eardrum and the ear canal. These rays are collected by the sensor and converted into temperature values. The best results are obtained when the infrared rays are collected from the middle ear (eardrum). Rays emitted by surrounding tissue give lower readings. Moreover, to ensure hygienic temperature taking in the ear, the original Veroval® PC22 – protective covers should always be used.

Readings on the forehead

The thermometer measures the infrared rays emitted by the skin in the area of the forehead and temples and the surrounding tissue. The rays are collected by the sensors and converted into temperature values. The most accurate values are obtained by scanning the entire area from temple to temple.
