Application

How to apply:

  • Clean and dry the wound area per protocol prior to application.
  • Select an Atrauman Silicone size which precisely covers the wound. You can cut the dressing to size accordingly. Use sterile scissors. If you have to use more than one piece, ensure that the pores are exposed where the pieces of the dressing overlap.
  • Remove the dressing with both covering films from the peel package.
  • Firmly hold the longer of the two covering films while pulling off the other film.
  • Place the adhesive side on the wound and smooth out the dressing. Then remove the remaining covering film.
