Application
Molicare® premium Fixpants long leg can be applied to patients in both standing and lying positions.
For bed-bound patients:
- With person on their side, gently pull pants up above the knees
- Create a boat-like shape with incontinence pad, cuffs raised
- Slide pad between thighs, front to back
- Unfold the back of pad and align wetness indicator with the spine
- Pull the pants up at the back, roll patient onto their back, unfold front of pad and fully pull up the pants
- To remove: pull pants to knees, remove pad from front to back
- Dispose of pad in waste. Wash fixation pants when soiled
