Self-adhesive, sterile and semi permeable wound dressing consisting of a non-woven backing material (carrier material) and a wound pad, both coated with a silicone adhesive perforated layer and protected with a film. The main constituents of these products are:

The backing / carrier material: white non-woven.

The medical grade adhesive: silicone adhesive.

The wound pad with three different layers: a first wound contact layer made of a polyethylene net, a second exudate transmission layer made of viscose, and a third absorbent layer made of an air-laid non-woven with superabsorbent fibers.

Film: protective plastic layer in contact with the adhesive side of the device.

For the protection of acute wounds, postsurgical wounds healing by primary intention, acute wounds (cuts, lacerations and abrasions) and the absorption of exudate (wounds with a low to moderate exudate level production).
