HydroTac transparent face is a single-use sterile transparent gel dressing to prevent medical device related pressure injuries (MDRPIs) and skin breakdown caused by respiratory masks.

HydroTac transparent face is an non-active, individually sealed for single-use, sterile hydrogel dressing consisting of hydrated polyurethane. The backing consists of a water vapor permeable polyurethane film which is impermeable to liquids and bacteria.

Application

HydroTac transparent face can be used on humans with intact skin without restrictions in age group, weight range, health status or condition. It is intended to be applied by healthcare professional. Healthcare professionals may delegate dressing changes to patients and/or their relatives (non-professionals under guidance of professionals).

It can remain in place for up to 7 days depending on clinical assessment. The accumulated use can be more than 30 days.
