OBITUARY OF FORMER HARTMANN MANAGEMENT BOARD MEMBER MICHEL KUEHN In June 2021, former HARTMANN Management Board member Michel Kuehn passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 67. He had been part of the Company for over 28 years, 15 of them as a member of the Management Board, which he remained until March 31, 2021. Most recently, he headed the country organization in France and took care of the handover to his successor. After that, he planned to retire. A long and successful career at HARTMANN Michel Kuehn studied sales and marketing at the Ecole de Man- agement Strasbourg from 1972 to 1976. He began his career at HARTMANN in 1993 as Sales Manager of the hospital business in France. He then headed the business in France for four years before being appointed to the Group's Management Board in 2006. During his time here, he was responsible for sales, the Incontinence Management segment and the Personal Healthcare business unit, among other things, as well as various regions and country organizations. His name is associated with many global product successes and important acquisitions, such as BODE Chemie GmbH in 2008 and the Lindor incontinence brand from Procter & Gamble in 2017. Valued as a person and a leader Michel Kuehn was one of HARTMANN's long-standing leaders who played a key and successful role in shaping the Company's direction and development.
