SARS CoV-2

HARTMANN takes steps to protect its employees.

3/16/2020

HARTMANN continues to observe the situation surrounding the Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) with great concern. Now a global pandemic, COVID-19 cases are rising steadily. The health and safety of our employees is a great priority. For this reason, we have taken the following steps to help protect employees and their families. In addition, these steps will help HARTMANN better ensure its ability to serve health care professionals who are on the frontlines fighting infection and treating patients.

Measures

  • Providing employees with continuous information, instructions, preventative measures on Coronavirus including proper hand hygiene and social distancing.
  • Restricting travel to and from areas defined as high-risk by health authorities and restricting any unnecessary travel.
  • We encourage all employees to do home office. For colleagues working in areas where home office is not possible, we are working on flexible working solutions that meet the needs of employees and their families wherever possible.
  • Introducing a more stringent visitor policy that helps minimize infection risk to employees at our sites.

As a company, we will continue to closely observe how the pandemic develops. Based on the ongoing guidance of national and local health authorities, we will adapt our policies relating to employees as needed.
