Hydrosorb/Hydrosorb comfort is a transparent hydrogel dressing consisting of an absorbent polyurethane-polyurea hybrid polymer which contains propylene glycol.

Products
The backing consists of a gas-permeable polyurethane film which is impermeable to liquids and bacteria . Hydrosorb/Hydrosorb comfort can release moisture and absorb a limited amount of exudate. The dressing provides a moist wound environment due to high water content of approx. 60%, which has a stimulating effect on wound healing. Hydrosorb/Hydrosorb comfort is transparent which allows wound inspection at any time without a change of dressing and may not stick to the wound. It is available in two versions (with or without adhesive border).
Hydrosorb®
The non-border dressing can be cut into the desired size. The gel dressing has a slight initial self-adhesive effect; however for fixation please use a suitable secondary dressing (e.g. adhesive tapes or bandages).
