Eycopad®

Eycopad non-sterile

Non-sterile eye pad for absorbing exudate, covering dry wounds, protection and padding of the eye. Consisting of absorbent cotton wool (in accordance with Ph.Eur.) with pure cotton gauze cover (in accordance with DIN EN 14079 type 24 thread). Available in two sizes. The eye pad has open edges, to get a soft boarder and to achieve a good padding effect. The product is packed in a folding box.

Non-active device.

Eycopad non-sterile is a non-invasive, single use, non-sterile eye pad made of absorbent cotton wool with pure cotton gauze covering and may be applied on intact skin at the outer eye region on humans to act as mechanical barrier to protect the eye/outer eye region and to absorb body fluids for long term use; change when indicated by healthcare professionals and instructed lay persons.

Non-active device.

The device is used on the outer eye region and not in the eye itself. When applied the lid covers the eye, so that the device is contacting only the skin.

Contraindications: Surgical wounds
