Annual Report of the HARTMANN GROUP
In fiscal year 2010, HARTMANN continued its profitable growth despite unfavorable market conditions, building on its strong sales performance in the previous year.
The course of the business year 2010 once again shows that the healthcare market develops in an anti-cyclical way.
Despite the unfavorable market conditions we succeeded in building on our very good sales performance achieved in 2009. HARTMANN recorded sales revenues of EUR 1.633 million - an increase of 4.6% compared to the previous year. With an EBIT of EUR 103.4 million we have passed the 100-million EUR mark for the first time. This corresponds to an increase of 7.4% on the previous year. Consolidated net income improved by 19.2% to EUR 69.8 million. In addition to an increase in sales, a consistent implementation of our efficiency enhancement program HARTMANN 2011 had a positive effect on the development of our results. The development of the equity ratio is another indication that the HARTMANN GROUP has a solid substance.
For the current business year HARTMANN considers itself well prepared to face the difficult market conditions. We expect to continue our organic growth above the market across all four business segments with a consolidated operating profit at the previous year's level.
